My story!

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here — seriously, it means the world to me. I wanted to share a little bit about my life and how all of this came to be. I’ve been playing softball since I was ten years old, and I love the sport so much. When I was around eight, I started playing piano, but I eventually quit. Then, when I was thirteen, I went through a rough patch and found myself drawn back to this old out-of-tune piano in my dining room. I started messing around on it, learning a few songs, and before I knew it, I couldn’t stop playing.

One day, I wrote this little rhyming sentence while walking through the house, and I thought, maybe I should try writing a song. My parents ended up getting me a busted piano off Facebook Marketplace, and that’s where it all really started. I wrote my first song, and fun fact — “Why would you…” was probably the third or fourth song I ever wrote (though it’s changed a lot since then). Not long after, I decided to learn guitar, and once again, my parents found me another Facebook Marketplace gem — this time, one that wasn’t totally busted. I got completely obsessed, taught myself everything I know, and started writing songs on guitar too.

 I’m so thankful you’re here and that you get to come along on this journey with me.
